Gear Bracelet 1

I started a jewelry class in September. It meets once a week and focuses on metal smitthing. The first week we learned out to solder using propane torches. I made a silver, copper, brass and bronze bangles (I'll upload those pictures later)

This project focused on piercing and sawing metal. I chose copper. I used the pattern I created a couple weeks ago (found here) 

After sawing out the design, I filed and polished the metal. Then i rounded it and gave it the stressed look by using liver of sulfur and then removed most of that coloring with steel wool. Overall it took me 18 hours.
